The best images aren’t the ones that shout drunkenly in your face about how futuristic they are, it’s the ones that are draw you in, make you wonder where and when it is happening, revealing critical details as you go.
The appearance of a ship in the arctic could have been snapped straight out of Shadow Run. A good adventure must be possessed of a certain amount of wonder, a good space opera takes that wonder and tries to blow your mind with the scale. This painting is a great example.
